Short Work Co. is Mike Jackson's consulting practice. This page explains what information I collect through this website, why, and what I do with it. I keep it simple on purpose.
What this website collects
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking of any kind.
Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) keeps basic server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
When you book a conversation
Booking happens through Google Calendar appointment booking, and our conversation takes place on Google Meet. You'll give your name, email, business name, and short answers to four questions. I use this only to prepare for our conversation and to follow up about it.
When you email me
Email goes to my business mailbox, hosted by Google Workspace. I use what you send only to reply and to work with you.
What I don't do
- I don't sell or rent your information.
- I don't add you to a mailing list.
- I don't share what you tell me with anyone else without your permission, except where the law requires it.
Please don't send sensitive records
A short description is enough to start. Please don't send health information, passwords, contracts, or confidential files through the booking form or by email. If a project needs records, we'll agree a secure way to share them first.
How long I keep it
I keep booking details for 12 months after our last contact, unless we work together.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email info@shortworkco.com.
Changes
If this notice changes, I'll update the date at the top of the page.
